March

First week of March and Knitty visited Newark Congregational Church for two reasons. Firstly as Catherine was leading the Sunday service and then afterwards to take part in the service to dedicate a Salix tree in memory of Rev Dr Walter Riggans. It was lovely to be able to be part of that.

Here he is, with Harry, at Newark CC.

The third weekend of March was a busy one for Knitty and Catherine.

Saturday we were off to Belper Congregational Church for the East Midlands Area Spring Assembly to tell those gathered all about what the Learning and Development Department can offer and how we are able to support and encourage our churches.

Sunday we were preaching at Ashby and Knitty was pleased to be able to meet some of the young people!

Knitty (with Catherine and Maddy) attended the Church Support Committee meeting on 23rd March. He was very interested in all the items that were discussed and excited to see how many great ideas and projects were in the pipeline for churches around the nations to get involved in!

Knitty attended church services at Ashby over the Easter weekend including the Maundy Thursday communion service and Easter morning praise (which included celebrating the 9th birthday of Anya!)
