It;'s been another busy month for the Learning and Development department and Knitty has been out and about meeting people again!

At the beginning of the month he accompanied Catherine on her trip to Eccles Congregational Church to run a Likewise event "Hatched, Matched and Dispatched".

Knitty was very pleased to be called to take part in the sessions by becoming the infant being baptised, as Catherine demonstrated how to hold a (potentially) squirming babe!

As always, he enjoyed meeting some new people from a variety of churches in the North West area as well as some new friends from one of the local Baptist Church.

The second weekend of April and time for the residential weekend. Here's Knitty showing off our new paperweight and ready for the arrival of the students!

He had lots of fun and games with the students. both in our sessions and also outside them as fellowship was shared in lots of different ways.

There was more partying for Knitty as he made a cameo appearance at the retirement party for Keith Smith who has faithfully served the CF for nearly three decades.

Knitty was happy to also be in attendance for the Embracing being a Small Church Seminar which took place at the Notingham centre and online.

Knitty's last adventure in April was at the CIPT Open Day on the 26th - where he was delighted to welcome (alongside the rest of the team!) a number of potential new students who may be beginning their studies in September. He was very interested to hear how exciting studying with CIPT can be - maybe he'll give it a try himself!
