The Venue

The venue for the Summer School is the iconic grade 2 listed National Justice Museum in the heart of Nottingham, which is easily accessible by public transport.

It has all the facilities you would expect for an event of this type, but it also has immense character, and the weekend will include a guided tour of the museum.  Buffet lunches and evening meals will be served at the venue.

Free wifi is available throughout the venue.

Please note: As an historic building, there are some areas that may be inaccessible to those with mobility issues.  The main conference room for the Summer School has access by lift for those who require it.  Please ensure that you indicate on your booking form if you will require use of the lift, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.  In some parts of the museum there will be low ceilings, uneven floors and steps. Flat shoes are advisable.

The story of the ongoing reform of the law and of the instruments of justice is not without interest for the story of Christian engagement with social politics.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not available at the venue, so we are asking participants to book into a local hotel for themselves.

The venue is in the centre of Nottingham, and we have supplied a list of hotels with a range of prices and facilities, within ten minutes' walk of the venue.  Please use the link on the right hand side of this page.
