Trust and Property Manager: Kate Bass

Kate Bass joined the Congregational Federation in January 2025 as Trust and Property Manager, bringing with her extensive experience in property management and sales. With a strong background in the property, Kate has developed a deep understanding of the property industry, honed through years of hands-on experience.

Outside of her professional life, Kate lives in Anstey, Leicestershire with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, finding balance and fulfillment in both her career and personal life.

Church Support & Property Officer: Linda Cooke

Linda joined the  Congregational Federation in July 2015 as part of the Finance team and from January 2025 has changed role to work in the Church Support Department as a Church and Property Support Worker.

With regards to church Linda grew up  and attended a local Methodist Church, was a member of the Girls Brigade  and became a church member as a teenager. She loves to craft, and currently leads a group at church in both large and small projects. She occasionally goes into the youth club, the Brigades, Guides or other groups to do a craft session with them.

Linda is a church bell ringer and goes to different churches during the week to join in their practise sessions and regularly ring for services, events and weddings. She also loves to dance, is qualified to teach and is the caller in a Christian Ceilidh Band.

Accommodation Officer: Lorna Blackburn

Lorna's role is to manage the student accommodation and the Conference facility here at Nottingham. Lorna ensures that students have everything they need to enjoy local student life and have a pleasent, comfortable and secure stay.

Caretaker: 

Marlon and Chance are responsible for the caretaking of the 3 buildings in Castle Gate Nottingham.  This involves the cleaning of three suites of offices, toilets and kitchen in addition to the Conference Centre and Market Research facilities.

The cleaning, servicing and maintenance of 31 room student’s accommodation, including kitchen, shower, toilets, and the security and outside cleanliness of all buildings are all part of their work too.
