Manager and Company Secretary of The Congregational Federation: Mark Tucker

mark TuckerThe CFL Manager is responsible for managing the trustee body (The Congregational Federation Ltd) which acts as Custodian Trustee for both the Congregational Federation and the majority of churches affiliated to it. The CFL Manager is also Company Secretary. The CFL Manager is the first point of contact for churches regarding issues arising from the trusteeship including matters concerning people and property, legal issues, building issues, church management and governance.

Mark was appointed to the role in 2007, his background is General Business Management and his previous roles include multi-site management as a Regional Manager, and also general management within a professional sports club. Academically, he graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1994 with an Honours Degree in Law. Mark is a lifelong Christian, and ‘brought up’ a Methodist attending his local chapel in a small Welsh mining village. He is very aware of the struggles and challenges facing small Christian fellowships. Mark is a passionate Rugby supporter, and attends many of Wales’s home matches at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
