The Venue

The venue for the Spring School is the iconic grade 2 listed National Justice Museum in the heart of Nottingham, which is easily accessible by public transport.

For a detailed map of the location please use the link for ‘Location’ on the right-hand side of this page.

For directions to the venue please use the link for ‘Directions and parking’ on the right-hand side of this page.

The venue has all the facilities you would expect for an event of this type, but it also has immense character, and the weekend will include a guided tour of the museum.  The story of the ongoing reform of the law and of the instruments of justice is not without interest for the story of Christian engagement with social politics and policies.

Free wifi is available throughout the venue.

Buffet lunches and evening meals will be served at the venue.

Please note: As an historic building, there are some areas that may be inaccessible to those with mobility issues.  The main conference room for the Spring School has access by lift for those who require it.  Please ensure that you indicate on your booking form if you will require use of the lift, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.  In some parts of the museum there will be low ceilings, uneven floors and steps. Flat shoes are advisable.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not available at the venue, so we are asking participants to book into a local hotel for themselves. However, the venue is in the centre of Nottingham, and we have supplied a list of hotels with a range of prices and facilities, within ten minutes' walk of the venue. To access this list please use the link for ‘Accommodation close to the venue’ on the right-hand side of this page.
