Bradford Chaplains to feature in special BBC Radio 4 Extra series.

BBC Radio 4 Extra presents a special week of Daily Services exploring the work of chaplains in Bradford and the surrounding area. Each morning from the 25th to 29th August at 9.45am listeners will enjoy reflections, readings and music celebrating the work of chaplains in our communities from locations including the Bradford Bulls Stadium and Martin House Children’s Hospice.
- Monday 25th August: Rev Liz Maitland joins us from the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at Airedale Hospital.
- Tuesday 26th August: Chris Mason, chaplain to the Bradford Bulls, welcomes us to Odsal Stadium.
- Wednesday 27th August: Padre Trudy Hobson speaks from Catterick Garrison about Army chaplaincy.
- Thursday 28th August: Saarah Hamayun shares from Martin House Children’s Hospice, reflecting on chaplaincy in times of grief.
- Friday 29th August: Rev Jimmy Hinton and pupils from St Stephen’s C of E Primary in West Bowling explore the role of spiritual support in schools.
Join us for a week of worship and insight, shining a light on how chaplains support the people of Bradford and beyond in their times of need.
