Celebrating Walter

What better way to celebrate the life of Walter Riggans and his contribution to the life of the Congregational Federation than by planting trees in his memory!

This was done in Knightswood Congregational Church in Glasgow and then on Christmas Eve at Greenacres Congregational Church in Oldham. At the planting in Oldham it was noted that it would have been his 70th birthday - how fitting!

It was also wonderful that Walter's daighter, Robyn, could share with us at Greenacres.
