A Secluded Place

A Secluded Place is a series of Lent Reflections created by the Congregational Federation to colour and challenge your journey through Lent this year.

It is inspired by the words of Jesus from Matthew 6:

“Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.”

We hope your focus will be on God through:

• Talking to God
• Listening to God
• Trusting in God
• God’s faithfulness
• God’s forgiveness
• God’s love
