Carve a Heart

20 October 2016

World Vision is asking for your support this Autumn.

Do something fun and inspiring this Halloween – instead of a scary face, Carve a Heart in your pumpkin.

Join us and Carve a Heart to show your love this Halloween and while you have safe fun with your family, you’ll be helping to turn a night of fear into a night of hope for children living in the world’s hardest places.

WHY CARVE A HEART?
On Halloween and every night of the year millions of children around the world face real fear. This isn’t fun or exciting and it isn’t a choice for just one night.
For children fleeing war like Mary from South Sudan, Khalid from Syria who now finds himself working on the streets in Lebanon and Susan* growing up immersed in poverty and fear in Uganda, Halloween is simply another night of hardship, danger, nightmares and uncertainty.

World Vision

Tonight and for the last 60 years World Vision is helping children like Susan feel loved and safe from abuse, comforting children like Mary scarred from her brutal memories of war and helping Khalid know he won’t always be exploited. You can help even more children.

Join us this Halloween – carve a heart in your pumpkin as a symbol of hope for children living in fear and text HEART to 70060 to donate £3 to World Vision’s work** and help turn a night of fear into a night of hope.
