National Assembly Timetable

Friday 12th May 2pm – 4pm, Ministers and Leaders Gathering
North Street Congregational Church, Taunton, 33 North Street, TA1 1LW
This is a time of fellowship for all in a ministry or church leadership role. We are delighted that Alice Bond from Hope Community Church in Bristol will come and lead a workshop on her amazing resource Biblios. Biblios is resource to help us understand the Bible more and encourage our congregations to read and have more confidence about it. This will be a time of encouragement to learn, share and have fun together.

Friday 12th May 7pm – 9pm, Fringe event
The Museum of Somerset, Taunton Castle, Castle Green, Taunton TA1 4AA

Saturday 13th May 10.30am-4pm National Assembly
The Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, School Road, Monkton Heathfield, Taunton, TA2 8PD.

  • 9.45 – 10.25am – Tea and Coffee and biscuits will be served
  • 1pm – 2pm - Lunch time with tea and coffee available
  • 4pm - Tea and Coffee will be served.

There is a full hour for lunch to chat and catch up with friends old and new. You can pre-order a packed lunch bag for £10 or you can bring your own. There is one newsagent shop opposite. All dietary needs will be catered for if you pre-order so just state on the form enclosed. There will also be a range of information stands to browse around.

Children’s work and Youth work - We ask you to pre-register if possible for numbers and safeguarding.

Saturday evening hosted by North Street Congregational Church, Taunton, TA1 1LW
We invite you to North Street Congregational Church. Starting at 7pm with a hot meal followed by an evening of entertainment based on the Eurovision. We hope to have a local singer come and share with us and Mark Taylor will run a Eurovision themed quiz.
It will be a chance to relax and be entertained.

Sunday 14th May

  • 10.30am - service at North Street Congregational Church – The Minister James Taylor will lead the service and Oliver Kinchin will preach.
  • 2.30pm – There will be a service at Stoke St Mary Congregational Church, TA3 5BY. This will be led by Olivier Kinchin and there is a lovely pub/restaurant next door that does Sunday lunch.
