Invitation to the Annual Assembly

Friday 9th June – Saturday 10th June 2017
Brangwyn Hall Swansea

Dear All,

I would like to invite you to the Annual Assembly and tell you about all the new plans for this year.

I am desperately trying not to say May Assembly, as this year (as a trial) we are meeting on Saturday 10th June in Brangwyn Hall, Swansea.

We will hold a weekend of discussion, fellowship and information.

The theme is “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord……. Plans to give you hope and a future” which the new President Martin Spain will introduce and reflect on.

So here is all the information you need.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Yvonne Campbell

This exhibition traces the remarkable life of the famous Swansea Missionary Griffith John, who went to China in 1855 and stayed for over fifty years. He travelled the country extensively, where he was a widely popular figure, and set up schools, hospitals and colleges. This exhibition updates his legacy including material gathered in 2016 during Swansea Museum’s involvement in the 150th Anniversary Celebrations in Wuhan of Union Hospital which was founded by Griffith John.
