Module Descriptions and Book Lists

Every module is supported by resources that can be accessed by students and used at their own pace in their own settings. This is true for the core and the optional modules, and also for the placement and work-based modules.

While it is true that most of these resources are books and articles in journals, we do include other types of resource, such as films and professional websites. As we continue to develop modules to allow specialised focus on the different accredited ministries, we will also build up a range of different, appropriate resources.

The lists of resources are included in the Module Descriptors, and students can access these in advance of the start dates for the modules, enabling them to prepare ahead.

Students have access to our well-stocked library in Nottingham during residential weekends, and can borrow books and resources to use at home. Access to the library between residential weekends can be arranged on an individual basis.

The Module Descriptors can be accessed via the links on the left hand column of this page.
