Green Spaces

'I believe that taking part in ecology and gardening is modelling what God is calling us to do: tending, respecting and sustaining life.'  Professor Jim McManus, 'Green Health - using church space for therapeutic gardening.'

Many of our churches have green areas that have been developed into spaces that can benefit their community in varying ways.  Others have green space that has potential but has not yet been developed.  Wherever you are in your progress towards being good curators of the spaces you have been given, there may be something in this section that will find helpful.  And if you have a story to share about the development of your churches green space, we would love to hear from you.
