Impact Grants
Replacing the Ministry and Mission grants, Impact Grants are available to churches looking to develop their ministry and discipleship opportunities. Grants may also be available to a group of churches wanting to work together on an initiative. If an area is looking for a way to support a group of churches, please contact the Church Support Team for information.
Closing dates for applications: 15 January, 15 July
Before applying for a grant, churches should:
- Engage with the Church Support Workers in clarifying and defining their needs. If Support Workers are not consulted before applications are submitted, grants may not be awarded.
- Ensure that the project is an integral part of the vision and mission statement of their church
- Contact their area for support, which may be financial or in some other form.
- Be able to explain how the money will be used, what will be the outcomes, and what the expected benefits beyond the funding period are.
If you are considering applying for an Impact Grant please contact the Church Support Team, as there have been a number of changes to this grant criteria, and the amount available is now a maximum of £6,000 per year, reducing over three years.
