Ebenezer Congregational Church, Uppermill

Uppermill is a central village in Saddleworth - Saddleworth is a collection of villages in the foothills of the Pennines situated between Manchester and Huddersfield - and Ebenezer Congregational Church stands on School Street which is just off the High Street in the Village Centre.

The Church membership is 22 plus a number of faithful adherents.  We meet at 10.45 a m on a Sunday morning, when the service is usually in the traditional form with hymns, sermons and prayers though the congregation is open to different ideas. After the service we linger for tea/coffee/cake and chat.  The age of the congregation is 50 years and up though we do hold a Sunday Stomp once a month which caters for children from 1 – 5 years old.

We are looking for a person who understands the Congregational way and is willing to work with and through the Deacons and Church meetings. At present we are able to pay a quarter stipend.
