End Hunger UK - an introduction for churches

06 August 2018

Everyone should have access to good food. No one should have to go to bed hungry.

The End Hunger UK coalition includes numerous Christian organisations and churches. These members have produced resources and guidelines to help local churches get involved in the campaign.

Worshipping communities across the UK are responding to the hunger crisis by helping to run food banks, lunch clubs, community larders and more. These are important practical responses, providing essential support to millions of people facing tough times. But food aid in and of itself isn’t a long-term solution to food poverty. To do that, we also need to ask why people are going hungry in the first place.

End Hunger UK is open to members of all faiths and none. We are keen to work alongside a diversity of faith groups as part of the campaign. Please contact End Hunger UK if you represent a faith-based organisation and would like to find out more about the campaign.
