The website for the 13th Assembly has been available since October 2008. Its purpose is to create an informative platform for discussion for both Assembly participants as well as people interested in the Assembly. The website is now multilingual: English, French and German.
With its new design and possibilities for interactivity, the website is intended to give visitors the best possible information and chances to interact with others and the Assembly Office.
In 2009 CEC celebrates its 50th anniversary, and an anniversary guestbook is available, which is open not only for anniversary greetings but also for visitors to leave their opinions about the current and future work of CEC. For more detailed discussions concerning the preparatory work a forum has been created in the Process section.
Other useful elements are the Practical Information and F.A.Q. sections where both general and detailed information about the Assembly can be found for participants and visitors. In the beginning of February the first Assembly newsletter was sent out.
The new Assembly calendar is another practical way to keep up to date with important pre-Assembly events. During the Assembly the website will be continuously updated with information and pictures so that also people who cannot physically attend the Assembly will be able to follow events and happenings.
