Resources from Conference 2016
The 2016 Congregational Conference aimed at nothing less than understanding the whole person and encouraging the whole people of God.
Our Bible Studies led by Rev Jason Boyd explored different learning styles to open up Scripture. Our main speaker Jonathan Clark from Premier LifeLines challenged us to think holistically about mental health and Gordon Temple from Torch Trust left us feeling that we could make church a more accessible experience for all. Our workshops looked at children’s and youth work, Godly play, mindfulness and retreats at home.
Below, are some of their resources so that the learning can continue way beyond Conference. Of course the Conference was also about fellowship, worship and simply being together in the Lord. We hope to see you next year when the theme will be ‘Telling the Story Here and Now’.
