Church Action on Poverty

Church Action on Poverty is a national ecumenical Christian social justice charity, committed to tackling poverty in the UK. They work in partnership with churches and with people in poverty themselves to find solutions to poverty, locally, nationally and globally. They  believe that everyone is created in the image and likeness of God, and deserves equal treatment. They ask for  prayerful support for their work to Close the Gap between rich and poor.

Church Action on Poverty offer a range of resources for churches, including:

  • Bible studies aimed at small groups who want to explore issues of poverty
  • 'A Just Church',a free programme designed to help churches embed a concern for poverty and social justice issues in the life of their church.
